MUNIR ARSHAD MEMORIAL TRUST (MAMT) which was
registered in 1994 has been working for education of poor children in rural area for the past 12 years. The trust has setup for multiple educational institutions in a rural area of Laber. It is presently managing two campuses of various categories. The trust is 'not for profit' but welfare organization working to promote literacy and education in Pakistan. Its main objective is to establish and run quality education institutions and related facilities with special emphasis on character building and inculcation of ethical values in the minds of the youth for the benefit of masses without any discrimination. The objectives of this trust are "To Sponsor /Support welfare Activities in Educational & Vocational Field". For assistance in this Task trustees elected to associate Tameer - e - Millat Educational Foundation (TMF) of Islamabad , It was decided to establish an Educational and vocational campus for nearly 1500 students both boys And girls; starting from prep level.

Shaheed Captain (P N) MUNIR ARSHAD
And family who lost their lives while traveling
on that Iranian airliner which was destroyed
over Persian Gulf by missiles fired by worships
of United States Navy.
To ensure high standard of instruction and quality of education the school is equipped with proper facilities and professionally staffed centers of research and development.
Leadership Qualities
We call our students (leaders) to give them a sense of pride. students are required to practice public speaking, to lead prayers and-to command parade. These leading rules enhance their confidence and develop leadership qualities.
Character Building
Our main emphasis lies on character building and inculcation of high moral values, so that a person is able to play a prominent role in any field of life. For this purpose our students are required to exhibit excellent moral character. They participate in different activities in a disciplined manner and make queue while entering the classes and the dining hall. In short, the vigilant eye is kept on their behavior throughout to shape their personalities according to the higher moral standards.
Atmosphere of communal Harmony
One of the achievements of our institution is to create excellent harmony among Students of different ethnic groups. It must be appreciated that they offer prayer together five times a day and bow and prostrate to Allah only and never ever show any Hatred against a person of different sects.
Computer Lab
A Computer Lab with 14 Pentium – Ill Computers interlinked through a client-server based local area network. These computers are fully equipped with the latest software. All students in every grade is assigned in a batch to work on Computer and prepare a project of their own. Some of these projects have resulted in innovations. Beside a regular class in the formal school hours, batches of the students work in Computer lab in the evening, A multimedia projector and a
laptop is also used for teaching purposes.
Science Lab
A very active science lab of Zoology, Botany, Physics and Chemistry with all the latest equipments needed for students to learn Physics, Chemistry and Biology are functional in separate labs. Even the 6th grade students have been keen to learn the Anatomy and Physiology of various animals like Frog, abbits and other birds that they have themselves collected and have preserved their organs. Similarly they have learnt to do chemical experiments even extract edicines from herbs.
Library
The library is equipped with the books of Science, Social Studies, omputer, Islamiyat, Geography, Islamic Books, research journals, magazines, text books, Arabic Language books and other language books. The library is gradually expanding every month. A total of approximately 10,000 books are in place. Audio Visual Cassettes / CDs on various subjects are also being gradually added.
Mission of the school
a. To provide quality education commensurate with national
aspirations at affordable cost to the rural children, in a stimulating and congenial environment.
b. To provide students knowledge of science :ind arts so thai
they are well equipped to peruse higher academic studies without difficulty.
c. To build in the students strong religious and ideological
foundation so that along with mental and physical
development they develop morally and spiritually as good
Muslims and motivated Pakistanis.
d. To develop personality of students, character qualities and
instill inner discipline.
e. To provide adequate opportunities to students to participate in co' curricular and extra curricular activities, games and sports, for a balanced development.
f. To provide some vocational training to dropout girls and boys.
Parents -Teachers Meetings
We arranged Parents - Teachers meetings regularly. Besides the academic results, matters pertaining to the conduct / behavior discipline and performance of individual students are discussed with the parents. These meetings are very useful in improving the overall performance of both the students and teachers in various fields.
Discipline
Following are school rules, violation of which can result in withdrawal or expulsion of student from the school, with or without warning depending on gravity of offense.
1) Indiscipline, cheating, lying, stealing or immoral conduct.
2) Bringing fire firearms, knives or any lethal weapon
3) Willfully damaging school property.
4) Being habitually unpunctual, untidy or slovenly dressed.
5) Consistent poor performance in academics.
6) Failure to pay tees within the extended time limits.
7) Misbehavior with members of tile staff and employees,
8) Smoking, or using drugs / intoxicants.
Absence
Any student absent from the class will be fined at the rate of Rs 5/- per day up to 10 days after which his name would be struck off.
Examination / Tests
Monthly class test and terminal examinations are held regularly to assess the academic performance of the students. Progress reports/ results sheets are sent to the parents at the end of each term. Final exam is held in March each year. Student showing poor performance are not promoted.
